SriLankan Airlines’ Frequent Flyer Programme - FlySmiLes and Mobitel’s Club Magnate Loyalty Programme, recently partnered to further extend their loyalty programme. This new partnership will mean a host of special benefits to Mobitel subscribers and SriLankan’s FlySmiLes members.
Benefit to Mobitel customers
Mobitel customers who are members of SriLankan Airlines’ FlySmiLes programme will now be able to accrue FlySmiLes miles on their post-paid bills and pre-paid re-charges / top-ups. In order to be eligible for this programme, Mobitel customers must have a minimum bill value of Rs.1,000 - every additional Rs.250 spent will earn 1 point (equal to 1 FlySmiLes mile). This scheme however does not include e-services and taxes.
Benefit to FlySmiLes customers
With its three tiered-membership – Blue, Silver and Gold – SriLankan Airlines’ FlySmiLes promises its Mobitel members a wide range of exciting benefits including reward tickets, upgrades, lounge access, excess baggage, pre-assigned seating, priority confirmation, etc. FlySmiLes members can also earn miles when they travel with Mihin. The FlySmiLes Frequent Flyer programme continues to expand and has many unique ways for its members to earn and spend their miles, without any additional cost.
Benefits on Mihin Lanka
Mobitel’s Club Magnate Platinum and Gold members will be entitled to CIP (Commercially Important Person) services and discounts on upgraded/special meals on Mihin Lanka flights. All Club Magnate members will also be able to enjoy a 10kg extra baggage allowance for travel out of Colombo. They will also be provided the opportunity to pre-order duty free items as well.
