The National Mobile Service Provider, Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel for the 5th consecutive year reached out to two communities of youngsters with its annual ‘Book Donation Project’. With contributions made collectively by the staff of Mobitel, 152 needy children of the Gampanguwa Kanishta Vidyalaya in Wellawaya and 90 children of "Fallen and Differently-abled Soldiers of Military Intelligence Corps" recently received educational books and materials along with children’s story books in order to cultivate healthy reading habits.
Along with this project, Mobitel also tied up with the Lions Club of Kandana, Ja-Ela to donate over 300 spectacles at an eye camp held on the same day at the Gampanguwa Kanishta Vidyalaya premises.
