Mobitel Business Solutions (MBS), the enterprise solutions division of Mobitel, recently joined hands with the premium tea brand Dilmah to set up Mobitel’s ‘One’ fuel Card to increase administrative efficiency, speed and ease at Dilmah.
The ‘One’ Fuel Card stores a value on the card and acts as a direct replacement for the manual fuel allowance management system that is accepted and practiced in many large corporate organisations in the country.
The special fuel card system pre-determines fuel limits to employees as per a company’s fuel policy. The process eliminates the difficulties of using a manual fuel allowance management process while also ensuring transparency through a sophisticated SMS notification system for each ‘One’ fuel Card transactions.
The newly installed ‘One’ fuel card process would enable employees at Dilmah to monitor all fuel transactions by time, date and location which are viewable in real-time. The system prevents fraud and allows the administrative functions of Dilmah to focus on the core business aspects of the company.
In the year 2012, Mobitel Business Solutions introduced its own ‘Tap and Go’ card solution based on NFC technology to extend on its list of business services. The solution is based on Mobitel’s “One Network” platform which provides a suite of solutions which works seamlessly with interoperability.
