With GPRS on your phone you can remain connected to your email, MWorld (wap.mobitel.lk) or the Internet while you're on the move and still receive voice calls while you're online.

With GPRS, you only pay for the information you send or download, not the time you spend connected.

Configuring the GPRS settings on your phone

• Dial 222 on your Mobitel phone and get connected to our Automated GPRS Settings Service
• The settings relevant to your phone would be identified by the system and sent via SMS to your phone
• Then save the settings upon receipt of the SMS
• Some phone models may require a password to be entered prior to saving the settings, in which case you need to enter the default password: 1234 as explained in the portal

This service is available for all Mobitel customers

Charges:
Normal M2M Voice call charges would apply to access the portal.
The settings are provided free of charge.
