MOBITEL’S LIYASARA NOMINATED FOR A GLOBAL MOBILE AWARD

Mobitel’s Liyasara – a mobile telephony tariff plan designed especially for women was nominated for a Global Mobile Award today. Tailor-made to bridge the gender gap in mobile phone penetration, this special tariff plan was a first in the industry.
Liyasara was launched on International Women’s day last year, as a tribute to Sri Lankan women. Making it even more invaluable, this package included a Voice, SMS, Data, VAS (Value Added Services) bundle accompanied by an insurance cover, otherwise unaffordable at this price.
