Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd has taken part in Infotel 2015, with the concept of connected bus halt. The stall consisted with number of new features including personalized advertising, weather monitoring, free wifi zone and a smart vending machine. Attendees of Infotel 2015 were able to experience these new concepts developed by Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd. Smart vending machine and personalized advertising were inspired by the crowd.
New vending machine concept allowed users to purchase soft drinks by providing their Mobitel Contact Number. This was demonstrated at the exhibition by allowing Mobitel user to get a soft drink free of charge just by providing their contact number to the vending machine.
Personalized advertisement was based on the gender and age and the facial recognition concept was used to identify the human. The relevant advertising based on their gender and age were displayed on the screen. People were able to buy the products just by scanning the QA code attached with the product.
