Mobitel, the national mobile service provider has announced its sponsorship of the Nandimithra Football team for a period of 3 years. The sponsorship is part of its ongoing commitment to support the youth of this country to attain global heights and usher in a positive team building initiative at a national level.
Football is a popular sport amongst the youth in the country and Mobitel is confident that Nandimithra would be a strong team; being enthusiastic and passionate to compete in games of its league. The agreement between the Civil Defence Force and Mobitel was signed recently in the presence of Lt. U.M. Perera - Chairman CSD Football Committee, Rear Admiral Ananda Peiris – Director General CSD, Mr. Shalinda Gayashanth – Skipper, Football Team CSD, Mr. Lalith De Silva – CEO, Mobitel and Mr. Manju Fernando - Chief Officer - Enterprise Business Development, Mobitel.
