Who is it for? 
The programme is designed for both Post Paid (Voice/Data) and Pre Paid subscribers 
How would a subscriber qualify for the Club Magnate programme? 
To qualify for the programme, the subscribers should accrue a minimum of 30,000 points within a period of twelve months. The subscribers will then be categorized to 4 tiers based on the points acquired
Platinum Gold Silver Bronze
100,000 Points 60,000 Points 40,000 Points 30,000 Points
How will the members know, that they are qualified for the programme and their membership tier (i.e. Platinum / Gold / Silver/Bronze)? 
  • Postpaid 
The qualifiers (members) will receive an “EXCLUSIVE” membership card along with their membership pack which includes;
A welcome letter, informing them that they are members 
Booklet  or  disk which details the programme rewards in E/S/T 
A profiling questionnaire & a postage paid envelope

  • Prepaid 
Unlike postpaid, members will not receive an “EXCLUSIVE” membership card physically. A SMS notification will be sent to the classifiers (members) informing their membership and a virtual membership number will be assigned to each member. Customers can access the following membership details by dialing USSD code #557# through their Mobitel phone.

How can a subscriber earn points to qualify for the programme? 
Points will be awarded for the following criteria
  • Spend (Bill value) – Rs 1 Spent= 1 Point (Total billed amount excluding taxes for a period of 12 months) 
  • Tenure – 2000 points for each year in the Network. 
  • Timely settlement of bills (At least 90% of the bills settled prior to the date of classification) 
  • Multiple Connections- Other Active Postpaid connections under subscriber’s NIC will earn 1000 Points (However the maximum amount of points a subscriber can acquire under this criteria is 5000 Points) 
  • Spend (Recharge Value) -Rs 1 Spent = 1 Point (Total recharge value for 12 months) 
  • Tenure - For every year of tenure the subscriber will earn 2500 points 
  • Multiple Connections- Other Active Prepaid accounts under subscriber`s NIC will earn 1000 Points (However the maximum amount of points a subscriber can acquire under this criteria is 5000 Points)

How can I view/access the programme rewards? 
You can access the programme rewards by dialing USSD code #557# from your Mobitel phone or referring to the Printed / Electronic ‘User Guide’.  
What are the other conditions applicable in redeeming the special handset discount?
The tenure on the classified account should be > 12 months (discount is based on the revenue generated by the respective account, within the reviewed period) 
The handset discount is redeemable once in 24 months, provided the customer re-qualifies for the programme based on the prevailing programme conditions. 
How do I check the value of my handset discount? 
You could check the value of the discount by simply dialing USSD code #557# from your Mobitel phone and by selecting option 2 - ‘Handset Discount’.

What is the validity of the Club Magnate Membership? 
The membership is valid for a period of one year at which point the member`s account will be reevaluated to re-classify/renew the membership. The membership tier at the point of renewal will dependent on the number of points each member has acquired within the review period of 12 months. 
What will happen to the members if they not qualify for the programme, at the point of re-classification? 
The membership will be terminated and a notification will be sent via SMS or OBD. However they will still stand a chance to re-qualify for the programme in the coming months provided they meet the required programme criteria’s 
Alternatively, they can purchase a Club Member Card at a reduced price of Rs.300 and continue to enjoy merchant partner offers. 
What are the instances a member can lose his /her Club Magnate Membership? 
• Disconnection on request 
• Ownership Transfer 
• Migrations from Pre to Post or vice versa 
•Termination of service by Mobitel as per directions from TRCSL or any other legal authority 
What are Partner offers? 
As a value addition to the loyalty programme, Mobitel have tied up with merchant partners to provide benefits to Club Magnate members in terms of discounts, vouchers, special offers etc. Members should produce his /her membership card or flash his/her membership ID by dialing USSD code #557# to avail these offers.
How will I know about the partner offers? 
We will communicate the offers via SMS, EDM, broachers, vouchers & Emails periodically. Members can also access #557# for latest offers 
How do I get my SIM card replaced FOC if lost or damaged? 
You can get the SIM card replaced by calling Customer Care hotline 1717 or by vising the nearest Mobitel branch office.
How can I view/access the current merchant offers?  
You can access the current merchant offers by dialing USSD code #557# from your Mobitel phone and by  selecting option 3 - ‘Merchant Offers’.
