What is Content Based Charging Plans?
It is a feature activation add-on bundle that can be activated by all pre-paid and post-paid internet customers. The plans have been designed to best fit to each individual’s lifestyle usage on internet surfing categories.
Who can activate this plan?
Any pre-paid and post-paid internet customer except for Upahara Internet customers can activate this plan.
What are the rates and structure of this package?

How can this plan be activated?
Type and SMS the following codes to 160 (The USSD menu #160# can also be used).
  • Act YT
  • Act M
  • Act SN
Please note once plan is activated, customer has to disconnect and reconnect the device to make the activated plan effective.

** This is not available for Pre-Paid customers
Is there a USSD menu for this plan (to activate/deactivate and to check usage balance)?
Yes, the USSD menu option is #160#
What is the validity period of the activated plan?
What is the validity period of the activated plan? Pre-Paid: 30 Days
Post-Paid: One billing cycle
Has this plan to be activated every month?
  • Pre-Paid: The pre-paid plan does not get auto renewed after the validity period.
  • Post-Paid: No, once the plan is activated as an add-on it gets auto-renewed every month.
Are multiple activations allowed?
Multiple activation of the same plan within the validity period is not allowed.
Can this plan be activated on Pre-Paid with a combination of other Pre-Paid Internet plans?
Yes, combined activation of other Pre-Paid internet plans is allowed (Excluding Blackberry plans).
Can Post-Paid broadband customers who have activated Late Night Internet Plans activate this plan?
No, Late Night Internet plans and Content Based Charging Plans cannot be activated simultaneously on one given package.
If I have an unutilized bundle within the validity period, can I carry it forward?
No
Can I check my usage balance?
  • Pre-Paid: Type and SMS DB to 160
  • Post-Paid:
    • Yes, if you want to check your daily usage alert, SMS Yes to 4545
    • If you want to request for your daily usage alert, SMS usage to 4567
How do I obtain activation details of the package?
SMS CBC to 160
Is the Content Based Charging plan activated immediately upon confirmation of SMS?
Yes, however the customer has to disconnect and reconnect the device to activate the plan
